Vice Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces Lieutenant General Charles Muriu Kahariri has assured that the Force remains strong in the difficult moment following the death of General Francis Ogolla and nine others.
Lt. Gen Kahariri said the members of the Kenya Defence Forces have accepted the will of God and are continuing to uphold their duty to the nation.
Kahariri, who is now acting as the CDF, said the General’s passing will only encourage the Force to do more.
He spoke on Saturday during the memorial service of the late Ogolla at Ulinzi Sports Complex, in Nairobi.
He described Ogolla as a very visionary leader, who has left behind the vision to make KDF better.
General Ogolla and nine others died on April 18, in a chopper crash on the border between Elgeyo Marakwet and Uasin Gichu counties.
