Angelus Maina and Catherine Wambui emerged winners of the fourth leg of the ongoing NCBA Golf series held at Ruiru Sports Club.

A total of 200 golfers took part in event at the par-72 course.

In Division One, the premier category for golfers with handicaps ranging from 1 to 12, Angelus Maina emerged victorious with an impressive score of 36 stableford points, playing off a handicap of 12. Louis Nderi secured the runner-up position with 34 points, competing off a handicap of 11.

Catherine Wambui, playing off handicap 12, claimed victory in the Ladies Division One, after carding a round of 29 points.

In Division Two, Joseph Wairagu, playing off handicap 21clinched the top spot among men with a round of 40 points.

In the Ladies’ category in the division, Lucy Njuguna demonstrated her talent, securing victory with 38 points, playing off a handicap of 14.

At the same time, Elias Kiragu, playing off a handicap of 28, emerged victorious in Division Three, finishing with a final score of 35 points.

In addition to the main divisions, several other categories were also contested.

Junior golfer Alex Ngugi impressed with 39 points in the junior category, while Harris Maina claimed victory in the guest category with 32 points. Apollo Asol emerged victorious in the Staff competition with 30 points.

The NCBA series’ fifth leg is scheduled Thika Sports Club on May 4th .
