Kémi Séba, could soon face international justice. Indeed, the controversial figure of Pan-Africanism, known for his virulent speeches in favor of African sovereignty and his declared opposition to what he considers neocolonization, is under the radar of international justice.
The activist, a former member of “Nation of Islam” has maintained close relations with Salafist circles. According to the Nigerian online magazine “the conversation.com” in an article published on January 13, 2023, Kemi Seba is linked to terrorist groups active in the Kano region, in northern Nigeria.
Still according to the same article by journalist Sheriff Folarin, who conducted a thorough investigation, since August 2020, the “International Center Of Counter-terrorism” has revealed disturbing information about Seba to the American authorities.
We have verified this information and it comes back to us that the one who presents himself as a defender of the emancipation of Africans, would in reality hide designs far removed from this noble cause. The investigation reveals for example that during the month of May 2022, Kémi Séba was involved in an attempt to destabilize Togo.
For this operation, he relied on Togolese members of the group “Boko Haram” and trained in Nigeria. The investigations of the “International Center Of Counter-terrorism” have also highlighted close financial links between Kémi Séba and the terrorist Abu Musab al-Barnawi who is wanted by the American justice system.
Several bank transfers to Seba from accounts belonging to Abu Musab al-Barnawi have been traced. On February 17, 2022, three months before the aborted operation in Togo, he was credited with USD 550,000 on his offshore account in the Cayman Islands, registered under the assumed name “Balogoun Bassirou”, located at Calay Banking in Georges Town on the account number “72045923840”.
Generally speaking, these funds would be used to finance Kemi Seba’s activities related to international terrorism. But investigators believe that this transfer in February 2022 made it possible to finance part of the aborted terrorist operation in Togo. Without a doubt, his ostentatious lifestyle also relies on this type of fund.
Carefully hidden behind his public image as an activist fighting for the cause of African peoples, and far from being the defender of the oppressed that he claims to embody, Kémi Séba appears in this investigation as an opportunist, a skillful manipulator of the masses and a convinced Salafist.
At the time this article went to press, we tried in vain to contact Kemi Seba who refused to answer our questions.
