The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) has issued an urgent recall for a specific batch of Sure lubricated condoms due to failing quality checks.

The problematic batch, identified as No. 2405055, flunked the ‘freedom from holes’ test, which is crucial for ensuring safety.

The PPB has directed all pharmacies, health centers, doctors, and the general public to immediately halt use, sale, or distribution of these condoms. They should be quarantined and returned to the nearest health facility or supplier.

“We’re asking everyone to help us keep our community safe by reporting any issues with medicines or medical products,” said F.M. Siyoi, CEO of the PPB.
