Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi chaired the inaugural inter-ministerial meeting on Wednesday focusing on the upcoming Korea-Africa Summit, which will be held in Seoul in June of this year.
As part of the preparations for the summit, the meeting agreed to review previous Memoranda of Understanding between Kenya and South Korea and meticulously craft new draft agreements in crucial areas such as technology and innovation, trade, and investments.
These agreements will be formally executed during the summit.
The Korea-Africa Summit is scheduled to take place on the 4th and 5th of June, 2024, under the theme: “The Future We Make Together, Shared Growth, Sustainability and Solidarity.”
