The national U20 rugby team,Chipu,won their second successive match after beating Tunisia 56-17 during the ongoing Rugby U20 Barthes Trophy at Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe.
The winner of the four team tournament will qualify for the World Rugby U20 trophy in Scotland in July.
After falling to an early try from Tunisia Kenya rallied from behind to equalize through Iddo Kuta’s converted try before Michael Wamalwa fired Chipu to the lead with a second try, Alvin Khavoli scored two tries to hand Kenya a 26-5 half time lead.
On resumption Michael Wamalwa, Bramwell Anekeya, Willy Tino and Brian Shile touched down once each to hand Kenya the emphatic win.Kenya beat Namibia in the opening match and will face defending champions and hosts Zimbabwe in their final round robbin match on Sunday.
The team with a higher number of points will clinch the championship.
